FAQ's

You’ve got questions, we’ve got answers!

Will the members show a pride of ownership?

Absolutely.

As we operate a private members club, there is an accountability for members to treat the boats just like their own boat. They also hold relevant qualifications to competently operate your boat in a safe and controlled manor.

How long is the agreement?

You sign a 12 month agreement with FlexiCharter to list your boat. You can either renew or take your boat out every year.

Can I still use my own boat?

Yes of course. All we ask is that you reserve any days you wish to use your boat on our calendar to make sure our members don’t reserve the same day. These are obviously not charged, and you can reserve as many days as you like on your boat.

You can also book other boats on the website, chargeable at the daily rate, as long as you hold the relevant qualifications.

Who insures, maintains and cleans my boat?

You will need to hold the correct insurance to allow chartering aboard your boat. Maintenance costs will need to be covered by you, but we can assist with the work if you’d prefer.

General cleaning should be undertaken by you to make sure the boat is kept in a good condition. After every charter with us, our team will clean the boat so its left as found.

How do I arrange coding of my boat?

To list your boat with us, we require it to be coded with the MCA. We can talk you through the whole process and provide an open book policy if arranging any of the work for you.
